University-Level Prospectus | BA HONS DEGREES

LOCATION KEY: UNIVERSITY CENTRE, BRANNAMS

NORTH DEVON CAMPUS MID DEVON CAMPUS

Only BA Hons programme in the area

Our BA Honours Degree programme, awarded by the University of Plymouth, contains four different pathways: Business, Childhood Studies, Health and Social Care and Creative Industries. To enter the BA Honours programme (often referred to as the ‘top up’) you will have completed a Foundation Degree in a relevant subject.

Right from the start, you will be working alongside students from all four pathways, giving you the opportunity to explore ideas and develop kinship outside your own subject area.

The award will develop your career and you will have many opportunities to apply your study to real work situations. The majority of modules will be studied by all students, on all four pathways, but you will tailor your projects to suit the pathway you are following.

Almost 2/3

of BA Hons students achieve a First or 2:11

We are incredibly proud of our BA Hons graduates, many of whom have gone on to post- graduate study, to qualify as teachers and social workers, develop their own businesses and progress in their roles as graduate employees.

“As part of the Professional Development degree you get to work with students from all different areas. For me, this was one of the best parts of the programme, as you got to see things from a different perspective and everyone was able to bring something different to the table.”

Louise, former BA (Hons) student
