Welcome to the Petroc School of Arts and Innovation

Within Petroc’s provision, we are delighted to offer a breadth of arts programmes. We are immensely proud of the range of art subjects currently available, from our Level 1 Arts on Prescription, through every subsequent level, to our university-level suite of programmes.

The Petroc School of Arts and Innovation has a programme of full and part-time qualifications to support your career journey, including curriculum areas such as graphics, digital media production, photography, dance, music, music technology, drama and art and design.

We are also very proud of the professional spaces that support our learners studying within the School of Arts and Innovation, most notably the Goodwin Gallery exhibition space and The Factory performance venue. Both offer high-quality, industry-standard learning environments for students on a wide range of programmes.

“I can wholeheartedly say that, without studying, I would not be here as an employer, and 18 people would not be employed in creative jobs at The Prop Factory. It makes me super proud to think of this and also how much we give back to good causes, our contribution to the local economy and the 100s of events we help make beautiful and fun.”

Carmen Croxall, Foundation Degree in Illustration and founder and owner of The Prop Factory. Carmen’s business has just turned over its first million!
