PAID CONTENT FOR REFUGE DE LA TRAYE

Refuge de la Traye MÉRIBEL LES ALLUES, FRANCE

Located in a beautiful hamlet in the middle of the French Alps, Refuge de la Traye was created in 1982 and underwent a complete renovation by Maya Collection in 2019, resulting in a new benchmark for high-end hospitality in the region. This unique, unconventional retreat is comprised of charming mountain chalets that combine authenticity and refinement. Guests will gain a sense of total immersion in nature, right near the heart of a preserved mountain range, enabling them to feel a true connection with their surroundings. Through its luxury service, adventure

activities and variety of wellbeing and gastronomic offerings, Refuge de la Traye provides guests with an indelible experience. Visitors to the hamlet are treated like family and are invited to fully let go in this relaxing and intimate slice of paradise. While honouring local traditions, the Refuge also embraces modern technologies and remains environmentally responsible in a bid to marry the ultimate guest experience with sustainable practices.

This is a place that embodies a promise

of luxury, one where guests can explore the beauty of the spectacular landscape from the comfort of their beautiful base. Six bedrooms and suites are on offer, combining authenticity and sophistication in their decor. Gourmands will be delighted with the epicurean offerings from La Table de la Traye, a cosy dining room and panoramic terrace with breathtaking views of the snow-covered peaks. The dining area — which serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner — can seat 20 guests inside and 35 on the terrace. Meanwhile, a cosy lounge, Le Salon, provides board games and a superb selection of cigars alongside a large fireplace. The spa is a cocoon where everything

is gathered for the pleasure of the senses. The atmosphere is geared towards rest and relaxation, allowing guests to recharge their batteries completely. Codage, Verso or Nectarome treatments are available in several versions. Enjoy this relaxing break as you work through the detailed treatment menu.

Don’t miss Enjoy raclette and fondue at the ‘ferme a fromage’ (cheese farm), a beacon of Savoyard gastronomy and hospitality
