Editor’s letter
I
f the past few years have taught us anything, it’s about the value of slowing down, pulling back and focusing on the important things in life. Part of these shiſts in perpectives include the prioritisation of
our health and wellness. With so much else in flux in the world, maintaining our mind, body and soul is incredibly important. In this issue, we take a look at how the power of technology is being
put to improve our health and wellbeing, with treatments such as cryotherapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (p.10). We also check in on the spas focusing on mouthwatering and healthy food (p. 12); properties set in truly spectacular locales (p. 14); the burgeoning trend of outdoor wellness experiences (p. 17); and the increasing urgency of sustainable practices in the spa industry (p. 18). Finally, there’s our roundup of the best spas, hotels and wellness
resorts, brought to you by our advertising partners, to help inspire you when planning your next rejuvenating escape.
