The property is part of the Brickell City Centre development in the hi>ÀÌ ov i>mi½Ã wn>nVi>l `iÃÌÀiVÌ° /hi >Ài> has seen huge investment in recent years, making it popular with young professionals. As a result, there’s plenty to see and do nearby, with ample dining options too.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Super modern. The property is trendy, sleek, slick and very minim>liÃÌ° looÀ-Ìo-Viilin} Üin`oÜà wll every room with light, while the decor is primarily made up of earthy tones, stone walls and light woods. East, Miami is the wÀÃÌ 1- oÕÌ«oÃÌ vÀom «>ÀinÌ Vom«>nÞ -ÜiÀi Hotels, with the rest being in Asia, and this inyÕinVi ià `iwniÌilÞ vilÌ ÌhÀoÕ}hoÕÌ°
THE FACTS: The property has 352 rooms including 89 residential suites with full kitchens, laundry services and up to three bedrooms. These residential suites are perfect for long-stay guests wanting more than the traditional hotel accommodation offering. Rooms are contemporary and simple with incredible views over the city. Corner King rooms include amazing wraparound balconies, but the Junior Residence Suite is really impressive with ample space inside and out. The hoÌil½Ã 1ÀÕ}Õ>Þ>n ÀiÃÌ>ÕÀ>nÌ +ÕinÌo > Huella is a big draw, offering both indoor and alfresco dining. The food here is exceptional whether you’re seeking crispy calamari, grilled octopus, a hearty steak or a rack of lamb. Breakfast is also served
here. Rooftop bar Sugar attracts locals and guests, offering cocktails set among a lush, jungle-themed space, located 40 yooÀà ի° ookin} ià iÃÃinÌi>l° iÝÌ `ooÀ ÞoÕ½ll wn` /i> ,oom] > hi``in ëi>ki>ÃÞ cocktail lounge. On some occasions this space is invitation-only and guests will be handpicked from Sugar, but it can also Li Looki` voÀ > ¼ i}hÌ ÀÕnVh½ `inin} experience. The hotel has a big pool space with four options – a lap pool, spa pool, cold plunge pool and a hot tub.
IDEAL FOR: Clients that don’t mind being away from the beach and prefer urban settings.
EXPLORE: After the neighbourhood of Brickell, recommend clients head to Wynwood to see the endless array of street >ÀÌ >n` }À>vwÌi° /hiÀi >Ài loÌà ov ÌÀin`Þ in`ii shops here too. The Miami Design District is also worth visiting and is now home to a Üi>lÌh ov `iÃi}niÀ Ãho«Ã inVlÕ`in} oÕià Vuitton and Chanel. And, of course, you can’t visit Miami without heading to the beach. It’s a 25-minute taxi ride away on a good day, but during my visit this ended up Liin} xä minÕÌià `Õi Ìo ÌÀ>vwV°
