Aqualla sets up new UK team
BATHROOM MANUFACTURER Aqualla has set its sights on becoming the ‘best bathroom supplier to the independent retail sector’ and has set up a new team to drive growth in the UK. The team has been built to help push sales and development within the company. Since the brand was founded in 2011, it has seen ‘rapid’ growth’ and is already established in Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland, but now it has ambitions to increase its presence in the UK. The Aqualla regional sales managers are tasked with driving new business and providing top-class service to existing and new customers, including the independent bathroom retailer. Pete Banham, head of GB sales, leads a team of seven regional sales managers that cover all of the UK. The team includes: Ben Kennedy for north London/Home Counties, Nigel Restall in the Midlands, Sarah Jowsey covering North-East England, Ian Quigley North- West England, Ed Thorn the South-East, Shane Basset the South- West, and Steven Sharp Scotland.
Steven Allaway, managing director at Aqualla, said: “The past 10 years have been a real success story for Aqualla with strong sales both here in Ireland and across the UK. With our new specialist team, we are looking to expand our presence even further. “With over 55,000sq ft of stock

ENTRIES FOR the biggest awards event in the kitchen and bathroom industry close at 5pm on November 17 – and there will be no extensions.

Awards mark their 29th year in 2023 and they are the most coveted and prestigious trophies in the sector – given out at the biggest and most glamorous black tie event.
The awards are FREE to enter and are open to any retailers, designers, suppliers and installers in the kitchen and bathroom sector.

There are six design categories for and
bathroom projects at
various price levels, as well as trophies for the top kitchen and bathroom retailers, the best showrooms and new kitchen and bathroom retailers who have opened in the past 12 months. For installers there’s the coveted Installation Company of the Year award and for the next generation of KBB retail leaders we have the Rising Star of the Year award.
And if you supply or provide services to the independent retail sector you can enter the Supplier Team of the Year category.
