The latest work surfaces and tiles on the market Compiled by: George Dean

CA’ PIETRA | Sculpture

Said to be suitable for use in bathrooms, wet rooms, and kitchens, Ca’ Pietra has just released its Sculpture collection of large format tiles. Designed to replicate a marble look on a porcelain material tile, the collection comes in six different marble finishes: cararra, calcutta maximus (pictured), ceppo, invisible blue,

oro, and romano veincut light. Each tile

measures at 1,000mm x 1,000mm, and has a thickness of 8mm. www.capietra.com

LAPICIDA | Rosa Tone & Verde Tone

Lapicida has added to its Porcelain collection with the creation of two new tile designs. Rosa Tone is described by the surface manufacturer as a rosy pink colourway, and Verde Tone uses a rich forest green finish - both are said to echo the look and feel of handmade glazed ceramic tiles. The tiles each measure 200mm x 65mm, and are said to work well in kitchens and bathrooms in both contemporary and traditional designs. www.lapicida.com

HANEX | 10 new colourways

Solid surface specialist Hanex has announced the addition of 10 new colour options to its product portfolio. The new finishes mean that various Hanex collections have been expanded, including its popular Venato Marble, Cascade, and Lunar Onyx ranges. Hanex says the newly added colours offer a diverse range of surface options to suit different design styles, from minimalist spaces to bold and dramatic statement designs. www.hanexsolidsurface.co.uk

MARAZZI | ArtCraft

ArtCraft is Marazzi’s new small-size tile collection, which it says is an homage to the beauty of traditional terracotta. Part of the wider Crogiolo collection, ArtCraft ceramic tiles are available in a wide variety of colourways, catering to both classic and contemporary

design styles. The collection is

available in multiple sizes, including 20mm x 20mm, 80mm x 80mm, 120mm x 120mm, and large format 160mm x 320mm tiles. www.marazzitile.co.uk

CRL STONE | Mercurio

CRL Stone has introduced Mercurio to its CRL Quartz collection of engineered stone surfaces, which it says was influenced by the appeal of industrial design. Available in a thickness of either 20mm or 30mm, Mercurio slabs are available in a format of 3,300mm x 1,650mm. CRL Stone says that Mercurio surfaces are scratch, heat, and stain resistant, which it believes makes them an ideal choice for functional and busy kitchen spaces. www.crlstone.co.uk

LAMINAM | Hado

Said to be inspired by nature Laminam has launched its new Hado series of porcelain surfaces. Hado – which is a Japanese term translating to “on the crest of the wave” – is said to employ a water-like aesthetic by introducing a textured Rain finish, designed for use in cladding projects. Hado is launching in a 1,200mm x 3,000mm format, with a 3+ thickness and four new Travertino colourway options: beige, bianco, noce and silver. www.laminam.com/en
