CDUK has been the exclusive UK supplier of Corian since 1979 and has grown steadily over the years with around 50 staff at its brand new offices in Leeds. Chris Frankland went there to meet managing director Andy Noble

DuPont’s Corian Solid Surfaces in 1979, when the company was set up by its late founder Geoff Baker who had been searching for a product that could be used to create an integrated basin for bathroom vanity units.


Although best known for Corian surfaces, CDUK also sells DuPont’s Montelli non-porous polyester composite solid surfaces and M|R Walls’ sculpted Corian wall panels in, which can be back-lit to create small or large-scale design schemes. It also recently added PaperStone


46 paper composite surfaces to its


portfolio. These are made from recycled paper and resin and are available in a variety of colours and thicknesses.


CDUK has also become the exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland for Polygood surfaces from The Good Plastic Company, which are made from 100% recycled and recyclable plastics.


It has also recently signed a deal as the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for Mixa sinks and Vivari basins in Corian from German manufacturer Pfeiffer. As well as supplying KBB retailers with surfaces, CDUK
