The his-and-hers wash areas feature bespoke mirrors and contemporary furniture, with a mosaic floor to divide the space into zones.

Project cost: £20,000 Cost includes: VAT, installation, building work Brief: A functional and contemporary en-suite bathroom with a simple feel, but not cold or ultra-modern, was the brief here. Sharing the client’s love of Japan, the designer set out to create a boutique hotel inspired bedroom with a Japanese spa feel for the en suite.

Project cost: £7,008 Cost includes: VAT Brief: In her brief, the client provided images of the bathrooms she loved. Baber needed to find a perfect mix of elements and use a natural palette. Natural marble porcelain, mixed with a light concrete style tile was a must, with some light stained oak to give a subtle, elegant finish to the room.

Project cost: £9,953 Cost includes: Brief: Curtis’s clients asked for a bright, light space with a calm, spa-like feel. She used natural stone on the walls of the shower area and for the long wall to wall basin shelf and splashback, comple- men ted with brushed bronze brassware, a putty coloured basin, coffee coloured radiator and wood accents.

requirement A full wall-to-wall shower gave the client an enclosure with storage space. A hideaway cistern gives an extra shelf for storage next to the basin.

The designer placed the toilet on the right and built out a stud wall in the shower area, ensuring the tray was in line. The factor came from LED strip lighting. A slimline sit-on bowl with a shelf was also included and the WC and tap matched the basin.

Project cost: £24,042 Cost includes: VAT Brief: The clients wanted to showcase a painting, so Fantini-Griffiths used the brass picture frame to inspire the choice of brassware, along with tones of blues, taupes and browns. A cluster of pen dants, a DeNimes- painted bath, under-window radiator, and towel radiator complete the space.

Project cost: £20,000 Cost includes: VAT, installation, building work Brief: This project entailed the redesign of an existing bathroom that no longer met the clients’ aspirations. New fittings were required along with tiling, lighting, soft furnishings and a full
redecoration. The outcome is a calming bathroom with a limited palette of materials.

Project cost: £12,814 Brief: This townhouse renovation project involved transforming a dated principal suite into a sanctuary of minimalist elegance and natural light. The brief called for enhancing storage space without disrupting the tranquil ambience. The designers used white fixtures and fittings to harmonise seamlessly with the lime wash walls.

Zen-inspired bathroom in his newly acquired Scottish home. The designer
maintained the original layout, drawing inspiration for the design from Asian archi- tecture and natural materials such as wood and stone.

Project cost: £27,778 Cost includes: VAT Brief: A family relocating to Wales for a self-build project requested a serene yet visually-interesting master en suite. Design highlights include zoning the bath area, coordinating tile layouts, and introducing unique elements such as a tiled seat with a quartz topper in the shower space.

Project cost: £57,184 Cost includes: VAT Brief: The client desired a serene master en suite with a boutique showroom vibe, emphasising light and practicality. To fulfil the client’s love for colour and texture, Moroccan pearlescent mosaic tiles were paired with natural Carrera Stone, complemented by natural walnut cabinetry.
