Symrise has taken the wraps off SymSol ProSun, an innovative solution for the increasing demands in the sun protection market.
The new emollient blend
solubilizes crystalline UV filters and helps to stabilize formulations with a reliable sun protection factor. In addition, the ingredient
provides sun and skin care products with an appealing skin feeling. Consumers are increasingly demanding products with a higher sun protection factor (SPF) and better skin care properties. It takes solubilizers to meet these high requirements by
improving the effectiveness of UV filters and enabling stable formulations. SymSol ProSun offers such an
innovative solution. The optimized emollient blend is dedicated to solubilize crystalline UV filters and prevents them from re- crystallization.
This is important so that the
sun protection works reliably and for a long time. In addition, the new ingredient gives sun and skin care products a soft and non- sticky skin feeling. SymSol ProSun can be used in
a variety of ways and is suitable for sunscreen with high SPF; children’s
sunscreen; sun protection products with mineral UV filters; skin and sun care products such as creams, lotions, oils, sprays, and sticks; and make-up and lipsticks. “SymSol ProSun offers an
innovative solution for modern sunscreen formulations,” said Claudia Teubner, Global Product Manager Functionals at Symrise. “We have developed an
efficient solution that will improve sun protection in various applications. Our customers receive innovative and effective products from us that enhance the performance and experience of sunscreen formulations.”
Oil is said to be abundant in its monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids composition, and features an impressive range of tocopherols and tocotrienols. “We believe Date Kernel Oil will
soon become a trending oil in the personal care industry, particularly for mature skin products and intensive moisturizers,” said chief executive officer Anáil Moon Devī. “It has a very desirable emollient
feel and a high content of skin soothing tocopherols, tocotrienols and oleic acid. Also rich in antimicrobial lauric acid, this oil is suitable for use in formulations for damaged or irritated skin conditions,” she added. “We are excited to introduce it
to the market, and we expect it to perform well across a wide range of personal care formulations.”
Trautec signs DKSH distribution deal covering Canada and the USA
DKSH has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Trautec, a Chinese manufacturer of recombinant human collagen (SRHC) technology for skin care and hair care, covering Canada and the USA. The Swiss-based distributor
will provide business development, marketing, sales, logistics, and distribution services for Trautec’s trademarked SRHC ingredients, including ReCol3, ReCol17, MiniReCol3, and MiniReCol17. These ingredients offer
remarkable stability and efficacy in addressing various skin care solutions, such as anti-ageing, wrinkle reduction, UV damage mitigation, anti-inflammation, as well as promoting hair density and scalp repair. SRHC offers an animal-free
