WALDENBURG, GERMANY — Würth Elektronik has expanded its WE-KI family with further ceramic inductor variants in 0603 and 0805 (1608 and 2012 metric) packages. The portfolio now includes more than 300 models in four sizes from 0402 to 1008 (1005 to 2520 metric), with optional ±2 and ±5 percent toler- ance. MALVERN, PA — Vishay’s BC Components 190 RTL aluminum capacitors are now available from New Yorker Electronics. The capacitors can help to increase design flexibility and optimize board space in high- temperature applications. The new automotive-grade miniature aluminum electrolytic capacitors offer high ripple currents up to 3.36A, operate in temperatures up to +257°F (+125°C) and up to 6,000 hours of usable life. Compared with previous-


generation solutions, the Vishay BC Components 190 RTL capaci- tor series offers lower impedance and 10 to 15 percent higher ripple current. This allows designers to utilize fewer components, increas- ing design flexibility and saving board space. In addition, the AEC-Q200 qualified devices are available in smaller case sizes, ranging from 0.39 x 0.47 to 0.71 x 1.38 in. (10 x 12 to 18 x 35 mm). As polarized aluminum elec-


trolytic capacitors with a non-solid electrolyte, the RoHS-compliant devices are ideally suited for smoothing, filtering and buffering in switch mode power supplies and DC-DC converters for high- temperature industrial, automo- tive, telecommunications, med- ical, and military applications. With radial leads and a cylindrical aluminum case with pressure relief, insulated with a blue sleeve, the 190 RTL series offers rated voltages up to 50V, capaci- tance from 100 to 6,800 µF and low maximum impedance down to 0.017W.
