preeflow / ViscoTec Develops Diamond Coated Rotors

KENNESAW, GA — Recently, preeflow, a brand of ViscoTec, in- troduced diamond-coated rotors for dispensing, designed to pro- vide significantly improved serv- ice life over that of standard chrome-plated rotors. Also, the diamond-coated rotors have been shown not to discolor materials. Diamond-coated rotors are a combination of different coatings and finishing processes specially developed for challenging and highly abrasive materials. Their multilayer design enables previ- ously unattainable surface hard- nesses for rotors made of metal. The new rotor has been demonstrated to exceed the service life of standard rotors by ten times when dispensing highly abrasive materials. The new diamond-coat-

ed rotors are also excellent for ap- plications that require dispensing of material in the microliter and milliliter range.
