• a selection of new final rinse liquids

• a complete group of ‘Ashore’ dry cleaning chemicals
• the unique mini roller spotter chemicals and new carpet care products
• a new, top of the range, professional laundry powder, Professional Plus (Pp)
We set about ordering the table to make it cleaner, bolder and easier to follow. We’ve added important details about the eco properties of each of the products we manufacture, including which ones can be used most effectively at lower temperatures. It was important for us to produce an updated and considered edit to our vast range of products, and we wanted to take the opportunity to inject more style, personality and design into the presentation.
Keep It In The Classroom Both directly and with the aid of our UK distributors, we've been co-ordinating product training specifically tailored for users of the new Ideal textile care chemicals. Classroom training has proved to be very effective, and it’s something we will keep developing, reviewing and refining as we continue to grow.
We strongly believe that trained staff are an essential component to any successful commercial laundry operation, and we are encouraging independents to embrace this initiative. We are proud to be the only British Manufacturing company that can provide hands-on technical support in the UK, for all areas of textile care – from laundry to dry cleaning and wet cleaning.
Laundry Recovery
Services We are very much aware of the escalating cost of linen, along with water and energy costs. One contribution has been to formulate a unique recovery system comprising of two elements; Prime (Pr) and Everbrite (Ev), to recover damaged or abused

linen so that it can be put back into circulation. Not only that, we have also put together a whole range of Ideal detergency service programmes to help recover and resuscitate all kinds of linen from black metal oxide marks, grease, mildew, stray dyes, set stains and a special rust treatment wash. Please contact us for more details of these specialist processes.
In addition, for independent laundries we have another useful tool: the Ideal Solutions Laundry Processing Guide. This guide can be downloaded from our website, and lists fabric stocks likely to be encountered by the modern textile care professional, the common problems they face and the likely causes, along with the ‘Ideal solution’ suggested from our range of products.
Making An Exhibition We’re keen to let everyone know about the Periodic Table of Laundry, and we recently had a very successful CleanEx exhibition in Ascot, where we were dispensing fresh samples from the Periodic
Table of Laundry from our stand – so that visitors could try them out for themselves. We use them at home, so we figured our customers should be able to try them too.
The original laundromatinee idols (Dr Mike Kalli and Mr John Hickman) were on hand to help resolve difficult laundry issues on the stand, whilst the rest of the Ideal team were dispensing products from the Ideal Wash Cycle – a customised Pashley Classic 33, with a unique dispensing unit. It caused quite a stir at the exhibition, and we’re making plans to take the Wash Cycle to Expo Detergo in Milan in October. We hope to have lots of other exciting new product developments ready in time for the show. Hopefully, we’ll see you there!
