Pasture Naturals Secure Contract With Boutique Hotel
Pasture Naturals, a range of luxury bathroom essentials and washroom products, has secured a contract with a new boutique hotel in Dorset. The newly renovated Cliff House Hotel in Southbourne has commissioned the four-strong product collection of Pasture Naturals’ premium cleansers, washes and lotions for use in their 14-room hotel, which blends historic charm with modern refinement.
The range offers Cliff House Hotel complete peace of mind that they are offering their guests a higher quality product which is the first of its kind, while at the same time conserving natural resources. The products are available in two pack formats – 300ml and 5l – and utilising the 5l refill reduces the need to frequently replace bottles, representing a 90% reduction in like-for-like product and packaging wastage across a year, compared with traditional guest amenities. This option also presents a further benefit with improved speed and lower cost to service rooms. Additionally, Pasture Naturals’ products are completely paraben-free.
The four products, all rich in vitamins and natural essences, include Neem Tree Handwash, Indian Mulberry
Hand Lotion, Olive Kernel Hairwash, and Chinese Ginger Bath & Shower Gel. The ingredients include high concentrations of plant, root and fruit extracts, which have a range of beneficial effects such as anti-bacterial and anti- inflammatory properties.
General Manager of Cliff House Hotel, Tim Seward, said: “We’re dedicated to high standards of service and superior hospitality, and we are extremely impressed with Pasture Naturals’ product range, which we believe will heighten our offering, providing everything in luxury skin and hair care our guests are looking for. The products are beautifully designed and presented and will fit in perfectly with the charm and character Cliff House Hotel has to offer.”
Mike Frost, Director at Pasture Naturals, said: “This is a significant step forward for us and our products into the hotel and catering sector. Our products have been designed with quality at the forefront of our minds, and we have invested a lot of time into the design of our product,
which will make a stunning addition to the newly redesigned bathrooms at the Cliff House Hotel.
“We are extremely proud of our beautifully engineered wall dispensers, especially our high- polished stainless steel holders which Cliff House Hotel have chosen to complement their stylish design.” In addition to their four- strong product range, Pasture Naturals’ are working on a number of new product developments and have recently launched a premium Hand Sanitiser. Brighton & Hove City Council Chooses Propelair Loos For Historic City Gardens
Propelair® Limited, the UK designer and manufacturer of the revolutionary 1.5l flush toilet, has been selected by the award-winning Brighton & Hove City Council for the historic Royal Pavilion Gardens in Brighton.
Brighton & Hove City Council is trialling the toilets in a bid to save water, cut costs and bring the well used public loos up to date. The environmentally friendly Propelair toilets use 1.5l of water, compared with more than 9l in some of the city’s loos. Estimates show that the eight new toilets could save up to 1.6million litres a year.
14 | NEWSFLASH
The Propelair system combines an air pump with the water cistern, and works when the lid is closed. The combination of air and water means that the loo can be flushed more efficiently using a fraction of the water needed in a traditional toilet. The system also improves hygiene by removing 99.9% of germs.
Councillor Ollie Sykes, Deputy Chair of the Environment, Transport and Sustainability Committee, said: “We are constantly looking for new ways to update and improve this service whilst keeping within our budget restrictions. These new toilets have the potential to save huge amounts
of water, cutting costs, increasing sustainability and improving hygiene.”
Garry Moore, CEO of Propelair, said: “Brighton’s commitment to sustainability, money saving and hygiene is clear from their winning overall Loo of the Year in December, and it’s a pleasure to be working with them and serving the people of Brighton and Hove. We hope to work more closely with Brighton, and also look forward to helping other local authorities reduce their costs and carbon footprint while improving hygiene.”
