6 Flanging Tool Kit
Use ‘Flangy the Tool™’ from Microsolv Technology to make or restore plastic tubing tips or create new fl anges. Since the fl ange is created by mechanical means rather than by heat, the resulting fl ange itself will be long lasting and more stable. Suitable for use with soft and semi hard low-pressure polymer tubings including PTFE, FEP, PE, ETFE, PP & Tefzel or with thin-walled PEEK to make ideal fl anges for fl anged tubing connectors (nuts).
This kit includes the fl anging tool, a set of 5 fl anging drills (pins) for a choice of diameter, a sample of PTFE tubing, the Clean-Cut™ tubing cutting tool, a selection of tubing connectors (nuts) with rings and a storage case.

New Low Volume Air Sampler for PFAS Analysis
The FM4 from GL Sciences BV is an air sampler developed for sampling per- and polyfl uoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in air. The FM4 design is a groundbreaking approach, which enables the simultaneous collection of particulate and gaseous PFAS in air.
In conventional collection methods based on fi ltration, accurate measurement is often diffi cult. Gaseous PFAS may be adsorbed on particles collected on the fi lter surface. Additionally, a gaseous PFAS may change to its non-volatile form during sampling. To solve these limitations, the FM4 was designed in such way that it minimises the contact between particles and gas and three types of adsorbents, which enable simultaneous collection of ionic and neutral/volatile PFAS.
The collected PFAS is eluted with organic solvents and quantifi ed by gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Conventional activated carbons typically contain complicated pores. They have been used as adsorbents for PFAS. However, the complete elution of adsorbed PFAS is diffi cult to achieve. Therefore, a new functional activated carbon adsorbent (GAIAC™) was developed, which was used as the gas-type adsorbent. GAIAC™ is an innovative sorbent that is composed of synthetic resin fi bre with optimised pore and surface activity, which enable the collection and elution of PFAS.
The FM4 Air Sampler was tested with a wide range of PFAS and achieved excellent recovery rates. It is lightweight and compact, easy to carry and, with its very small installation footprint, easy to deploy.

Next Generation Scale up Flash Purifi cation CombiFlash Torrent®
systems from Teledyne ISCO provides the ease of use and high reliability of their CombiFlash and RediSep®
product lines in a large,
development-scale platform. Packed with time-saving features and controlled by the company’s innovative PeakTrak® software, the CombiFlash Torrent accommodates a broad range of injection, detection, and collection requirements. Choose from two models: CombiFlash Torrent for a combination of normal phase and reverse phase purifi cations, or CombiFlash Torrent AQ optimised for reverse phase.
Patented active solvent sensing technology monitors solvent supply and waste levels for true walk-away automation. Pressure and vapour sensors ensure safe operation by stopping the purifi cation when pressure increases or a leak is detected. Fully grounded tubing allows safe operation at high fl ow rates. Optional air purging of the column after use simplifi es disposal.
Tailor a system to meet your needs with a variety of sample introduction and fraction handling confi gurations.
Teledyne ISCO’s powerful yet intuitive PeakTrak software - the industry standard in fl ash chromatography - lets you quickly access and edit every method parameter from one screen.
