MultiTest Slide 8-WELL: High Quality Glass Slides

FastPrep® -24 System: Lyse up to 48 Samples

Simultaneously in Just Seconds! The FastPrep®

-24 device is a versatile sample preparation system offering the ultimate in speed and performance for the lysis of any biological sample. The FastPrep®

-24 System uses a unique, optimised

motion to disrupt cells through the multidirectional, simultaneous beating of specialised Lysing Matrix beads on the sample material and offers the ultimate in versatility with 8 interchangeable adapters designed for high-throughput applications (sample holders for 24x2ml tubes, 48x2ml tubes and 24x4.5ml tubes), large volume samples (sample holders for 12x15ml tubes and 2x50ml tubes) and cryogenic lysis (sample holders for 24x2ml tubes, 6x15ml tubes and 2x50ml tubes designed to hold dry ice). A wide range of FastPrep®

kits provide ready-to-use protocols for the isolation of highly pure DNA,

RNA and proteins. Find more information on www.mpbio.com/SamplePrep and contact us today for a free trial in your lab!

MP Biomedicals offers a range of MultiTest Slides which have many applications including immunofluorescense, cell culture, slide agglutination tests and histology. MultiTest Slides are high quality glass slides with a unique blue PTFE coating while the uncoated areas have a total wettable surface so that liquid spreads evenly over the area of each well. The cells attach only to the uncoated glass.

For cell attachment and growth, the slides require only a simple washing in deionised water or detergent followed by sterilisation. The MultiTest Slides are resistant to common organic solvents and fixatives and can be sterilised for 1 hour at 160˚C.

The slides are available in 8, 10,12 and 15 well format while the 8 well slides feature the same spacing as standard microplates. The slide size is 2.5cm x 7.5cm x 1mm (100 /Box). Protocols to use MultiTest Slides for cell culture or immunofluorescence are available at www.mpbio.com

7X™ Cleaning Solution: For Glassware, Instruments and Laboratory Surfaces

7X™ Cleaning Solutions are concentrated liquid detergents, intended for aqueous cleaning processes which require low cell toxicity, low debris, high efficiency of cleaning, and non- corrosion on the cleaned material.

Initially developed for cell culture laboratories, where cleanliness is crucial, these detergents shown a broad range of application other than glassware, and was used to clean re-usable parts of the endoscopic instruments, needles, laboratory surfaces, stainless stain instruments and titanium components without damages for the support material. Moreover optical components of instruments are efficiently cleaned because no fluorescent residues are left after rinsing.

7X is completely soluble in water at any concentration and drains completely from glassware in only a few seconds. A 5% solution in distilled water has a pH range of 6–9. This neutral pH will not induce or cause etching of delicate glassware without leaving residues. The formulations are stable and support overnight soaking, heating and autoclaving treatments.

This detergent exists in Phosphate free and automatic washing formulations, in a wide range of pack size covering most of the laboratory or industrial needs.
