Mary Grosvenor Middleton Cook ‘49 aka Mingo, wishes to share the happy news that on February 18th, 2021 her first great granddaughter was born to Abbey (Soares) Sannemalm ’05. Katie (Cooper) Berry ‘93 was appointed as the Executive Director of KBB. Katie was the head of the Primary PTA from 2014 - 2019 and was awarded the Frances Tucker Zuill Bowl in 2018, which is awarded to an alumna who has demonstrated outstanding and unselfish service to the School.
Jennifer Burland Adams ‘95 is the co-chair of the newly- created division of The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce. This new non-profit category has 38 non-profit members and provides a forum for these community organisations to come together. Jennifer is the CEO of Wavecrest Ltd.
Alexandra Mosher ’97 welcomed a baby girl on February 8th, 2021.
Kimberley Durrant ‘97 was announced as the newly appointed chairwoman of the UK Overseas Territories Association.
Dr. Catherine Draycott ‘87 had an article published in the July 2020 issue of Sapiens magazine (
www.sapiens.org) that she co-authored with archaeologist Dr William White. In their piece, “Why the Whiteness of Archaeology is a Problem”, they discuss why better proportional representation matters in the field and offer actions to help.
1990s
McKeisha Smith ‘93 was elected as president of the Bermuda Equestrian Federation in February. She said: “My aspiration is that we are inclusive, collaborative and co-operative in our joint goal to continue to develop all of our equestrian disciplines.”

Shelly Leman ’95, was appointed as Managing Director of Transmission, Distribution and Retail after more than 20 years with BELCO. She began her career with the company as an Environmental Field Technician in the Environment Department and was most recently the Director of Retail Operations, responsible for the Customer Experience, Metering & Revenue Protection and AMI operations of the company.
