Digital Media Room


Otherwise known as the “Green Room” - it is not much to look at if you poke your head in, but that’s exactly the point! With all four walls painted in bright green paint and furnished with only a desk, a flash umbrella and some chairs, the beauty of this room is that it can be transformed into whatever the students want!


The students are already calling “action” in the Digital Media Room, producing “Torch Talk”, a fortnightly news broadcast for which Year 8 and 9 students manage the content, filming, production, editing and interviewing for each episode. Episodes are then uploaded to the BHS YouTube channel. Additionally, Year 8s produced newscasts for their Saving Alabraska project in Innovation Class.
