As the centerpiece of BHS’s pioneering Leading the Way campaign, the newly constructed Innovation Centre is a two- storey, 14,000 square-foot structure consisting of Science Labs, Computer Science and Robotics Labs, a Maker Space, Learning Commons and Library, the Digital Media Studio and a Leadership Centre for Girls.


These spaces were specifically designed to house a STEAM- based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) curriculum. Over the next few pages Torchbearer explores the important elements of the spaces and some of the ways the staff and students have been putting them to use.
