Winthrop Gardens reopen for summer


The volunteer-run community garden at Wickersley has now reopened for visitors to enjoy.


The site is open Tuesday to Thursday 10.30am until 4pm. There is a small tearoom with indoor and outdoor seating that serves drinks and cakes,


but payment is cash only. They also have a curiosity corner which sells plants, crafts and preserved to raise funds to keep Winthrop Gardens flourishing.
