f you knew Dexter, you would soon realize that it does not take much to cause an audible response from his 18-pound frame. It is a trait established through his lineage of one- part Yorkie to one-part Schnauzer and he makes no
excuses for such behavior. Sounds erupt for a variety of reasons; bicycles whizzing down the street; fast moving little humans; knocks at the door; sounds going on outside when he cannot see the source; sounds going on outside when he can see the source. You get the idea. The most precious is one that he lets escape his throat as he finally finds a comfortable place to snuggle into, evenly placed between me and his most favorite human, Dad.
