OPEN FARM SUNDAY Hundreds of farms across the UK will throw open their gates so circle the date in your diary. With each farm hosting events based around their own individual story activities may include a farm walk, nature trail, tractor & trailer rides, activities for kids and mini farmers markets. Why not check out the goats and their ice cream at Dartington Farm (dartington.org) and visit www.farmsunday.org for other partipating venues.


27 SEPTEMBER SALCOMBE CRABFEST Postponed from May this annual celebra- tion of all things crab has activities for the children, fantastic chef demonstrations, wonderful food and drink, live music and shopping opportunities galore.
