impairment. Specialised classes will be run in the hope that many will integrate in to the social sessions. Fiona is a keen advocate of Walking Tennis for anyone recu- perating from illness/injury and/or finds running too hard. This project, along with a ‘Young Mum’s’ social session where mum’s with babies and small children can have fun, exercise and enjoy some social time with other young mum’s, is hoped to be up and running in the near future. Elliot Veale, a Level 4 LTA Tennis Coach, has sup-
ported the project from the very beginning running Saturday morning junior coaching, Junior Easter and Summer camps and providing adult coaching. Lesley, Lisa and Verity have all obtained LTA Coaching qualifi- cations themselves so that they can help Elliot and run taster sessions, friendly tournaments and British Tennis Weekends. This enables them to promote tennis to Kingsbridge residents and visitors, adults and children. To date they can offer LTA Level 4, Level 2 and Level 1 coaching. For the more competitive players, teams have been
entered in to both the winter and summer tennis leagues which has enticed younger players to become Friends which in turn will hopefully encourage even more. Last year the Ladies Team proudly won their league. Lisa, Richard, Lesley and Verity are open to any ideas
