16 Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas 2019

Join in the Christmas fun this year as we invite everyone, from shopkeepers, stallholders, visitors, locals, and of course Father Christmas, to join in the festivities on Saturday 7th December to help Kingsbridge Celebrate Christmas.

M

ake your Christmas party special and start your day buying produce from the Farmer’s Market - the only one in the South Hams and on the

town square the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. Have a go on the Kingsbridge & District Light Railway, listen to some live music and await Father Christmas’ arrival at 10am. Follow him as he tours the town, then visit him in his grotto outside the Methodist Church when every well-behaved child will receive a free gift.

Explore the town full of stalls, browse the shops, and take a trip down Baptist Lane to the Craft Fair in the Kingsbridge Family Church. During the day there will be live music and enter- tainment, a lantern workshop running for children and a display of nativity scenes from around the world in the Catholic Church. To finish the day, two very special “Frozen” ladies will lead the lantern parade down Fore Street, switch the lights on the Christmas tree and join in the dancing at the ever-popular children’s disco.

There’s so much to do and so many reasons to shop local, support your town and join in the festive fun on Saturday 7th December - see you there! www.kingsbridgecelebrateschristmas.com
