National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum
Cooperstown, NY - For generations, baseball cards have provided the perfect way for fans of the National Pastime to connect to their favorite players. Now they are the focus of the newest permanent exhibit at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, “Shoebox Treasures,” which celebrates the history, design and production of baseball cards. The interactive exhibit allows visitors to explore the history of trading cards, trace how the design of baseball cards has evolved over the years, take a deep dive into the passion of collecting cards and ultimately arrive at displays of some of the rarest and most cherished cards in history.
Visitors to the Hall of Fame can explore Cooperstown while staying a few nights at the historic Otesaga Resort Hotel, which recently announced a new culinary milestone in its 110-year history by introducing “1909,” one of the most sophisticated, quality steakhouses in central upstate New York. The property also recently announced its “Winter Relief Meeting Package” - a special offering for meeting and group planners who are looking to book a memorable and exclusive event experience.

Philadelphia, PA - The Philadelphia Downtown Marriott has transformed a former banquet kitchen into 1201 Innovation Lab. When planners come to the hotel for a site inspection, they are brought into the Lab and treated to demonstrations that showcase the creativity of Executive Chef Robert Price and his team relating to innovative Food and Beverage programs for groups. Additionally, Chef Price takes the time to get to know each group, rarely serves the same menu twice, and will customize fun food and beverage presentations for them. As an example, he created a food buffet for a medical group that was set up on a replica of an “Operation” game board!
