She adds that she works closely with each client to ensure every detail leads to a successful outcome. “Our corporate event planning phase be- gins approximately 30 days out from the date of each event with myself, the dedicated corporate event plan- ner. I communicate with the client’s planner for each event and detail and discuss all topics pertaining to their function. From setup-style of their meeting to lunch times and locations, all the way to any details pertaining to on-site dinners or team building ac- tivities that the company is planning.


This gives the planner one specific point of contact throughout the plan- ning process and takes some pres- sure away when it comes to handling the finer details.”


When it comes to providing food and beverage, The Farmer's Daughter is the culinary cornerstone of this his- toric property.


Marra notes that the members of Nor- mandy Farm’s culinary team come from varied backgrounds and cul- tures. This diverse experience allows for new and exciting offerings to be made available each day, which is very useful when a group conference lasts for an extended period of time as a wide variety of menu selections can be offered for each meal.


“While most food and beverage offer- ings that are included in our daily meeting packages are chef’s selec- tion, our culinary team is very dili- gent in ensuring several options to encompass all dietary restrictions. All of our food products are locally sourced and made in-house, which al- lows us the opportunity to make sure that all dietary restrictions are safely covered,” explains Marra.
