Hi Ben. We have been working together for a while now helping to build some new markets for the Wildwoods and especially the Convention Center right on that famous boardwalk that I used to go to as a teen. How long have you been there at the Wildwoods? What brought you to this fun shore destination and what was your background previously?
I have been working in the Wildwoods for close to 22 years now. Seventeen years in my current position as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Authority and Wildwoods Convention Center, and five years previously as Director of Marketing for The Morey Organization, owners of the three Amusement Piers and Waterparks, hotels and restaurants in the Wildwoods.
Having been there so many years, what can you tell us about that’s new or changing?
The Wildwoods are ever-changing and improving in assets and infrastructure. Over the years, we have seen a large increase in the construction of new condos and vaca- tion rental properties to handle the ever-growing need for accommodations as the destination grows in popularity each year. We also have continued our mission to pro- vide attractive public open space for recreation throughout the Wildwoods. Most re-
