Where can I get advice on Support for Learning? It is important to identify additional support needs as early as possible because early action is helpful in its own right and can help to prevent further difficulties developing later. Depending on the needs of your child, this may be done from birth onwards.
The Education Authority is responsible for making arrangements to identify additional support needs. Edinburgh Council do this working in close cooperation with parents and other services in contact with a child. Or you may wish to contact the Additional Support for
