Hershey, PA - Opening in Summer of 2020, Hershey’s $150 million transformational expansion called Chocolatetown will be a new 23-acre section of Hersheypark where guests can eat, play, shop and gather year-round. “We are incredibly excited to enter this next chapter in the rich history of Hersheypark. Hershey’s Chocolatetown will mark the true intersection where fun meets choco- late,” said John Lawn, President and CEO of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. “Chocolatetown will be a place where chocolate-inspired attractions will transform the guest experience in new and engaging ways.” Hershey’s Chocolatetown will feature several marquee elements like the largest full-service themed restaurant in Hershey, an Ice Cream Parlor and Confectionary Scratch Kitchen, and a one-of-a-kind KISSES Fountain.

One of the most dramatic changes to Hersheypark will be the new welcome experience and a new front gate. Arrival at Chocolatetown will create a unique sense of place and will serve as a seam- less passageway between Hershey’s Chocolate World and Hersheypark.

Philadelphia, PA - The newly relocated 65,000-square foot Philadelphia City Archives opened in Northern Liberties and will contain a narrative of Philadelphia, linking the past to the present while

effectively preserving and shining a light on the city’s legacy. The wealth of material preserved in the City Archives includes: original architectural plans from the 1870s for City Hall, which took 30 years to complete; and 18th-Century City records with signatures of some of the nation’s founders (Alexander Hamilton and Benjamin Franklin). The earliest original documents are the William Penn City Charter (1701) and the Common Council Minutes of the first legislative meeting (the precursor to City Council) in 1704, while the newest notable item is the 2016 design drawings for the Octavius V. Catto memorial from the Philadelphia Art Commission.
