Centrally located in downtown Stone Harbor, The Reeds offers the most luxurious retreat experience at the Southern New Jersey shore

What’sNew

Meeting planners will find that the meeting space in Cape May County runs the gamut. The destination is easily accessible to most of the urban centers on the East Coast, and has meeting locations that can cater to groups from as few as 10 to as many as 7,000 attendees, including: the Wildwoods Convention Center; Cape May Convention Hall; an aviation museum - The Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Museum; Cape May’s Congress Hall; or one the county’s most stunning boutique hotels - The Reeds at Shelter Haven; an environmental attraction - the Wetlands Institute; and a boardwalk amusement mecca - Morey’s Piers and more.

The all-new Spa Side building at The Reeds at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor introduces 22 guestrooms and suites to the area that are ideal for those seeking a restful and rejuvenating spa-centric escape. Enjoy exclusive resort amenities and South Jersey’s ultimate luxury spa experience. Salt Spa at The Reeds, debuting in early 2019, will offer two levels of pure relaxation - featuring luxurious treatment rooms that include a brine light therapy lounge and Turkish bath; a blowout bar and makeup application studio; nail care with a manicure and pedicure salon; waxing services and a fully equipped fitness center.

The Reeds at Shelter Haven is a contemporary boutique hotel with distinctively designed guest rooms and suites plus two restaurants. The Roof Garden Sundeck is open daily in season with two hot tubs and a plunge pool to enjoy after lunch at the Water Star Grille or dinner at Sax, which features an eclectic menu and relaxed fireside seating. Concierge services, seasonal valet parking and motorcar escort to the beach are complimentary here, as well.

Opening summer of 2019, the owners of the Montreal Beach Resort will present The Boarding House, Cape May’s newest hotel, which is inspired by the classic surf culture of the seaside resort. Rustic and relaxed, yet decidedly modern, it is just steps from Cape May’s celebrated restaurants and shops, and includes an expansive rooftop deck.

Also opening this summer, owners of the Chalfonte Hotel have announced the launch of a design-focused beach- front boutique hotel called 5 Perry Street in Cape May. The hotel comprises eleven luxury suites that pair Victorian charm with modern amenities. The expansive parlor, wrap-around porches and garden grill will serve as the main entertainment spaces.
