Welcome to the July issue
It’s summer time and, if June is anything to go by, we should be in for some lovely weather.
Our cover advertiser, The Skin Clinic, has some serious advice to make sure you look after yourself in the sun (pg56), and Hillside Vets has some pointers for looking after your pets in the hotter months (pg21). As always, our resident gardening expert, Denise Hill, keeps us up-to-date on what needs doing in the garden in July (pg26). And, if you get too hot in your conservatory, you can always ask Broadview Blinds (pg2 and pg36) to help you make it less stuffy.
There are many outdoor events this month, starting with the Broadstone Family Fun Day on Sunday 1st July (pg75). Details of other fetes, car boot sales, bike rides, garden parties, concerts and cream teas can be found on pages 33, 37, 73-75 and 77, and the organisers of this year’s Wimborne History Festival fill us in on page 76.
Organisers of the Broadstone Neighbourhood Foum are pleased with the result of their Neighbourhood Plan referendum (see page 6) and are now concentrating their efforts on considering how to improve pedestrian and vehicular access to the centre of Broadstone. Do contact them with your thoughts.
Welcome to new advertisers Skips Direct (pg27) and Amethyst Clinic (pg55), and welcome back to Westover Kia (pg65) and The Healing Space (pg71). If you are thinking about advertising your business or organisation in any of our magazines, including our new sister publication in Ashley Cross, please do get in touch.
Until next time, Karen In this issue...
