HARRY PAYE DAY ON POOLE QUAY Saturday 16th June Poole has a local fl ag depicting a dolphin and three scallop shells. The Poole Flag Trust is committed to encouraging local fl ag pole owners to also fl y the local fl ag that stems from the 14th century. The Trust will be supporting Harry Paye Day with a stall on Poole Quay and will be explaining the history of the local fl ag as well as offering versions of the current fl ag for sale. Bargains, relating to the experimental / research versions, will also be available.

THE BROADSTONE CHOIR PRESENTS HENRY PURCELL’S OPERA ‘DIDO AND AENEAS’ Saturday 14th July, 7.30pm Gainsford Theatre at Lytchett Minster School. A concert version; soloists will be a mixture of professionals and members of the choir, accompanied by a professional string quartet with harpsichord.
