The new Chairman of the Chamber of Trade is Hugh Morris.
Hugh is possibly the youngest Chairman that the Chamber of Trade has had in its long history and the aim is to concentrate on what the Chamber does well.
Hugh’s ‘day job’ is at J L Morris Insurance Brokers, the third generation of the family to be involved with the business, where his role includes responsibility for the smooth running of the computer systems. His knowledge of insurance is impressive and ensures that each client is individually looked after with bespoke advice – every client is different.
The plan for the Chamber is to re-visit what the members require to allow us all to work together for the benefi t of each other and the benefi t of Broadstone. It is better that we all support our local economy as this has far- reaching advantages for us all.
A new calendar of Chamber events is being prepared and this will be the public face of the breath of fresh air that is needed.
