TEAM FOCUS: UNDER 7S Broadstone U7 Boys
At the start of the season, we entered into the new under 7 league with two teams to accommodate 23 players! One team is the “Rockets” and the other the “Jets”. With 23 very keen children all wanting to play in matches, there was inevitably some disappointment each week for some players.
With this in mind, it was agreed that we would add another team to the league from January. Unfortunately, all plans were scuppered when the Rockets’ manager decided that the grass was
greener elsewhere and agreed to join another club, taking with him a number of players from both teams.
This meant that with both teams impacted following his departure, we had to mix up the two teams and disregard any thoughts of a third team. Fortunately, the club secretary and chairman stepped in to run the Jets team while I looked after the new Rockets team until a new manager was found.
That new manager came in the form of one of MANAGERS WANTED
We are currently looking for managers. FA Level 1 qualifi cation is preferred and an in-date criminal record check is required. Please email:

the previous under 6 coaches and he has done a sterling job since taking over the team. With both teams continually improving every week, winning lots of games and scoring plenty of goals, and taking in everything they are learning during their training sessions, I believe there is a very bright future for these boys, oh and one girl!
Just leaves me to thank all my assistants for all of their support since January and to the parents who help out every week with goals and collecting subs for me.
