SPRAYING EQUIPMENT Mankar Pedestrian ULV Sprayers
Pedestrian powered Mankar ULV sprayers offer a superbly efficient and environmentally friendly way of spraying large surface areas such as paths, paved areas, back edges or kerbs. They are equally at home in field inter crop row spraying, such as Christmas tree plantations, fruit orchards or vineyards. A single fill of one litre of Roundup® Pro ProVantage 480 glyphosate will treat 5,000 square metres without the operator having to stop work in search of water and is applied highly accurately since the herbicide is fed by its wheel driven pump, so whatever speed the operator walks at, the correct dose is always applied. In contrast to the previous Mankar-Roll sprayers the Mankar-TWO models feature:
• One slim wheel: One size slim wheel of 53 cm which is also suited to rough surfaces but nevertheless keeps the sprayer small and agile.
• 3 Standard spray hoods: There are 3 standard spray hoods available with spray widths of 25, 40 or 55 cm. They can be differently combined and optionally mounted either in front of or behind the wheel.

SPRAY CDA SPRAYERS Eliminator and Eradicator Hand Held CDA Sprayers
The Eliminator and Eradicator CDA lance system offers a labour efficient and environmentally friendly way of applying CDA Vanquish glyphosate (see page 70) or several other herbicide options, such as propysamide and some other residual products using EcoMark CDA carrier.
These lances with pumped delivery of herbicide give highly accurate automatic calibration, a clearly visible spray pattern of white spots, greatly reduce the potential for spray drift and because they are pumped will apply herbicide uphill or onto tall weeds such as Japanese Knotweed, Bracken, Brambles, etc that gravity fed lances cannot tackle. Their circular spray pattern is also ideal for ring spraying around obstacles or trees for mowing margins or similar weed free zones. A 5 L pack of CDA Vanquish can cover around 5,000 square metres or about 16 kilometres of 30 cm back edges, fence lines or kerbs continuously sprayed, but far more when spot spraying only weed growth as is now required, which makes the system very cost effective. It is lightweight, nicely balanced and effortless to use.
