TOP DRESSING, SOILS, SANDS AND AGGREGATES Mycological Mycorrmax Compost
ALS Mycological Mycorrmax® planting compost is a first class soil conditioner and planting compost for the planting of trees, shrubs and bedding plants. It is a non-peat based compost consisting of a blend of recycled green waste and fine composted bark to produce a friable open compost ideal for the professional landscaper. The compost is then blended with an organic fertiliser, biostimulants and mycorrhizae. The neutral to slightly acid pH makes this compost ideal for most landscaping and reclamation projects, except for acidic loving plants which require a low pH to thrive.
Pack size: 70 L
• 90% of all the worlds’ plants and grass roots have associations with mycorrhizae fungi. • Mycorrhizae fungi improve uptake of nutrients and water to trees, shrubs, turf and bedding plants.
• Many man made landscapes and preparations can reduce or eliminate these beneficial soil organisms - compaction, erosion, site preparation, removal of top soil etc.
• Mycorrhizae fungi “make available” phosphorous, iron and other “tightly bound” nutrients. • Mycorrhizae fungi improves soil structure. • Humus is essential for a healthy soil.
