ROCK SALT AND ICE MELT Rock Salt


Conforming to Highway Standards, it is suitable for use on car parks, roads and paths to keep friends, family and employees on their feet over the winter. Councils and members of the public across the whole of the UK choose rock salt every year to clear snow and ice, so you can be sure of purchasing a well tested, quality product. It is graded to about 5 mm and contains some moisture.

Instant Ice Melt Original offers a perfect solution for creating safe surfaces in cold and icy conditions. Instant Ice Melt is a Urea based product, the benefits of using Urea over salt is that Urea has a freezing point of -11°C compared to rock salt at -5°C. It is also non-corrosive to metalwork and is more environmentally acceptable with Urea being a plant nutrient whilst rock salt is highly toxic.

Magic Ice Melt liquid works brilliantly both as a de-icer and anti-ice product. It can withstand freezing conditions for much longer, preventing ice from bonding to glass, metal and virtually any other surface for up to 48 hours. Being so fast acting, Magic Ice Melt Liquid can melt 10 mm of ice in 25 seconds whilst also remaining non-corrosive and eco friendly.

Instant Ice Melt Exothermic Fast Acting – Exothermic Ice Melt


Instant Ice Melt is a fast acting, clean white granule that produces an exothermic reaction on contact with ice and snow for rapid melting and clearance. Instant Ice Melt works in the extreme cold, down to -29°C, outperforming rock salt and conventional ice melts. It also flows freely through standard spreaders giving up to six times the coverage of rock salt.
