Plum Slate 20 mm


Decorative Welsh Plum Slate, can be used as ground cover in landscaping projects, pathways, driveways and when you are looking for weed suppression in low maintenance borders. At 20 mm they are both easy to spread, pack down firmly while giving an open textured finish.


Blue Slate 40 mm


Decorative Welsh Blue Slate, can be used as ground cover in landscaping projects, pathways, driveways and when you are looking for weed suppression in low maintenance borders. The colours shine though when wet, with a lovely blend of different shades of blue/grey. At an average size of 40 mm, they are easy to spread and pack down firmly, while giving an open textured finish.


Resin Bound Gravel Tree Pits


Loose stones are a nuisance in pedestrian environments. Tarmac and conventional paving results in an impervious cap over tree pits. Resin bound gravel allows air and water to permeate down to the root system of the trees. Available in a variety of finishes Brittany Bronze, Rhine Gold and Silver Grey.


To cover 1 m2 to a depth of 50 mm you will require 4 x 25 kg of washed and dried 6-10 mm gravel and 4 kg of resin. Tip mixture of gravel, resin and catalyst into planting pit (ensure this is a firm soil surface). Level out using a damp float to the finished level of the tree pit frame. Leave approx 50 mm space around the tree trunk and fill with dry gravel to allow for trunk expansion.
