METAL TREE GUARDS AND GRILLES Tree Protectors
Tree Protectors provide effective protection for young and semi-mature trees from harmful damage caused by vandalism, machinery and animals. The protectors are manufactured from mild steel with a high specification black polymer coating for long life protection. Installation is easy as the protectors are supplied in sections, allowing the guard to be installed after the tree has been planted. Once the tree has reached maturity and the protector is no longer needed it can easily be removed and re-used. Tree Protectors can be used without grilles where the ground is soft and no hard surface is present.

Tree Grilles
Tree Grilles are generally used when planting trees in paved or concreted areas. These grilles have been designed to protect the complex root system of trees and prevent compaction to the surrounding soil. The grilles are supplied in four pieces and are manufactured in a specially formulated SG iron making them effectively shatterproof. Supplied as standard with a black painted finish. Black polymer coated option now available along with provision for water irrigation.

Tree Grilles Frames
The Tree Grille Frames are manufactured from 30 x 30 x 5 mm thick steel angle iron and are black polymer coated as standard. Supplied in two pieces, they come fitted with unique 150 mm legs enabling the frame and grille to be securely fastened into the ground. These features combined with the ‘drive in, no return’ foot anchor system’ makes for a comprehensively secure system.
