SHELTERGUARD shelters are manufactured from a recycled plastic mesh with a clear polyethylene film lining for a sheltered micro-climatic environment. The SHELTERGUARD shelters have been specifically designed to photo-degrade in a two stage process, with the polyethylene film lining breaking up first (after approx three growing seasons), leaving a free draining netting guard to continue to provide support and browsing protection. Supplied as 4 welded tubes nested inside of each other with prefitted stake ties.

TREEGUARD Mesh
The TREEGUARD range consists of four welded tubes nested inside of each other all pre-fitted with stake ties. The guards have a smooth top edge to prevent stem abrasion and to strengthen the tube. The TREEGUARD meshes open structure allows air-flow, providing good drainage and natural temperature variations. The netting will photodegrade and split as the stem of the growing tree shrub expands to fill the tube.

Small Mesh Spray Guard
Pre-formed small mesh guard 60 cm high with 12 cm/13 cm diameter. The lower half of the shelter is solid to allow the application of herbicide around the base of the shelter, but still having the advantage of the fine mesh protection, helping to reduce humidity levels, allowing the shelter to ‘breathe’. Supported with two canes inside, or external stake (ties needed).
