AQUATIC WEED CONTROL Maxwell AlgaPhite


Maxwell AlgaPhite is a natural formulation of bacteria, enzymes, buffers and dispersing agents designed to remove Algae and Blanket Weed from ponds and lakes. Some of the species of bacteria in AlgaPhite use nitrates and phosphates that stimulate heavy algal growth as their own food source, starving the algae and reducing algal growth. This helps to prevent algae blooms by removing nitrates and phosphates - the primary food source of algae from the water. The remaining species break down the organic solids from fish and waterfowl waste and decaying plant material that causes cloudy water, sludge build-up and foul odours.


Blanket Answer


Blanket Answer is a unique blend of minerals and enzymes to combat Blanket Weed. The special formula works where many bacteria cultures fail. It is 100% safe for fish and desirable aquatic plants. Blanket Answer is simply added to the pond by pouring the mixed powder and pond water from a designated watering can evenly over the surface.


Excalibar


Excalibar is an established, environment- friendly extract of barley straw treatment. Extract of barley straw is a scientifically proven technique to control the growth of green-water, bluegreen and filamentous (Blanket Weed) algae resulting from an imbalance in the aquatic ecosystem.

Roundup® ProActive provides effective control of aquatic weeds in ditches and drainage channels. It controls emergent and floating weeds including especially difficult to kill species such as Reeds, Rushes and Sedges. Roundup® ProActive is a non-residual, and does not harm animals, birds, fish, insects and other wildlife.
