DLF-TRIFOLIUM is the world’s largest producer and distributor of grass seed. Offering one of the world’s largest research and breeding programmes for turf. DLF-TRIFOLIUM is working continually to improve the quality and reliability of all varieties. To meet market expectations, these varieties are tested through a worldwide trialling network for adaptation to different climatic and environmental conditions.

Johnsons Sport Seed The Johnsons Sport mixtures are a dedicated range of the highest quality sports turf seed. The most popular mixtures are also available with the ProNitro® nutrient coating, ensuring that you get even better value from the top class cultivars.

DLF have two well established ranges for the amenity grass seed market: Masterline Range

®

The Masterline® range is a comprehensive range of grass seed mixtures covering all your needs from fine turf to land reclamation. Incorporating top quality cultivars along with fine-leaved and dense-growing varieties.

Both the Masterline and Johnsons seed ranges have been GroMax® treated. GroMax® is a dry formulation of natural humates and humic acids, seaweed extract, a proprietary blend of natural sugars (sucrose) vitamins (B complex & K) soluble

potash and buffering agents. The biostimulants assist the seedling’s ability to take advantage of the soil’s own inherent reserves of nutrient by stimulating the soil’s microflora, resulting in improved root growth and establishment.

Landscaping

ProNitro® is a patented 4G seed coating that significantly speeds up establishment and the early stages of plant growth, delivering up to 34% more plants, and 30% more root growth. ProNitro® coated seed contains 10% nitrogen, the N being a combination of fast acting and slow release forms. As the fertiliser is coated directly onto the seeds, the developing seedling receives the benefit, not the surrounding plants and results in less leaching than a traditional pre-seed fertiliser and reduces costs. This is particularly important when overseeding into a competitive sward. The increased sward density can also reduce poa invasion and increase wear tolerance.
