Social Activities and events at the Library
Time Travellers Wroxham! A new and friendly group for older people at Wroxham Library. Get together to share your memories of Wroxham over a cup of tea and contribute to our community archive of local stories. Dementia friendly. The first Wednesday of every month at 2pm. For our December meet on the 6th we will have a Christmas theme, with seasonal refreshments.
Mini Movers Come and join in the fun with your pre-schoolers and try Mini Movers. Enjoy music, movement and songs. No need to book, just turn up - children must be walking age. Thursday 7th December 10.30 - 11.15am.
Christmas Carols Tuesday 12th December, 1.30 -
2.30pm.Come along to Wroxham Library for some festive cheer! With musical accompaniment from Broadland High School students, we will be having a good old fashioned singsong. This free event is Dementia friendly - Booking advisable - call 01603 782560 or pop in. With Refreshments.
Christmas Crafts for all the Family Saturday 16th December, 10am - 12pm. Drop in to make some last minute Christmas cards or decorations. Free (donations accepted for materials).
Colour me Calm First Tuesday of the month, (December 5th) 2-4pm. Not just for children, colouring is now recognised as a relaxing and enjoyable way to promote Wellbeing. Come along to Wroxham Library to join our new Colouring Circle! This activity is Dementia friendly - Carers welcome. Templates and colouring materials provided, though feel free to bring your own.
Bounce and Rhyme Time is every Wednesday 10.30 - 11.00am. Term time only -Please contact the library or check our Facebook page for updates. Songs and rhymes for babies, toddlers, parents and carers. FREE
