WHB TWINNING ASSOCIATION We rounded off a very successful year for our association with a good turnout for our AGM on 2nd
November in Wroxham Church Hall where we heard from our chairman, Peter, of
all our enjoyable activities, social and fund raising, and, of course, our excellent Twinning visit in the summer to La Pommeraye and Montjean-sur-Loire. Our treasurer, Robert, also reported on our healthy membership and adequate bank balance, for now: we do have a lot more expenses next year, naturally, when we entertain our French friends here. Many thanks were extended to our excellent committee for their hard work, Marie for auditing our accounts and a big welcome to three new committee members, Avril, Carole and Liz before the main event of the evening: the sampling of the fine Anjou reds, rosés and whites from our twinning friends on the Loire! Dates were also put in to diaries for forthcoming events: our post-Christmas dinner on Friday 12th 27th
January at Wroxham Barns and our annual Quiz and Supper on Saturday January in Wroxham Church hall. Menus have just gone out to members for the
former, choices and monies to Aileen or Helen, and be getting your teams of six ready for the latter. We also have the proposed dates of the visit from our Twinning party next year fromLa Pommeraye and Montjean-sur-Loire as the 16th
-21st
