Cambridge & Counties Bank appoints directors
Cambridge & Counties Bank has appointed three new directors to its board - Andrea Hodgson, Simon Lindley and Caroline Fawcett. Andrea joins as Chief Financial
Officer, Simon is promoted to Business Development Manager and Caroline joins as Non- Executive Director. Cambridge & Counties Chief
Executive, Mike Kirsopp, said: “The new arrivals on the board, coming both from within and outside the business, deepen our collective knowledge and experience. We look forward to the contributions they will make in helping Cambridge & Counties grow.”
Forsyth Barnes grows with new division
Executive Search firm Forsyth Barnes has added a new arm to its business by opening a sport division, headed up by former Birmingham City and Scottish youth international, Graham Hutchison (pictured). Graham will work with some
of the UK’s most exciting sporting brands in their search for top talent across a range of disciplines at executive level. Graham said:

Nine new apprentices begin careers with William Davis Homes
Housebuilder William Davis Homes has offered placements to nine aspiring tradespeople. Starting four year
apprenticeships are bricklayers Kieran Findley and Joe Gardner; joiners Lili-Rhea Dashi-Murphy and Jack Jordan; plumbers William Cook and Thomas Christian; electricians Ellis Pole and Conor Bailey and trainee quantity surveyor Jake Hill. Gary Long, Apprentice

Energy and waste management consultancy Blue Castle Group has expanded following two new appointments. Barry Payne has joined as
Corporate Business Development Manager and Beth Fairweather has joined as Assistant Head of Operations. Barry said: “I wanted to join Blue

Brand agency gets a new champion on the board
David Simms has become the first non-family member to join the board of brand agency Champions (UK). David will head up a new sales
operation, responsible for driving profitable revenue for the business, which this year was listed in the Grant Thornton Top 200 East Midlands report. Having previously held the position at
Trinity Mirror of Regional Managing Director for the East Midlands, David’s background in digital, print and broadcast will prove invaluable once work begins on Champions’ move to transform an outbuilding on the premise into a high-tech digital suite.
