A levels went to Oxford University to study English. I taught in various schools and then gave up teaching for a while to embark full-time on writing and had one novel published. Outside the field of English literature, in which I have always been greatly interested, I am very fond of classical music, fell walking, and the whole world of equestrianism, though my riding skills are nothing to boast about. I very much like the atmosphere of Sibford, which is quite distinctive, and particularly friendly.

in Mental Health at Nottingham University and went on to work with children and adolescents in mental health settings in Oxford. I have worked with both younger and older people and today, as well as working at Sibford School, I also work with people living with Dementia which I find really

rewarding. I am very excited to be part of the team at Sibford School as I believe in the strong pastoral care the school offers. I am a Mum who enjoys the outdoor life. I run, play hockey, watch rugby and sew in my free time.

Tamsin Cygal Teacher of Science (Biology) I was born in Scotland but moved down to Warwickshire when I was seven, which explains the lack of a Scottish accent! I took my A-levels locally and then studied Biology at Durham University, before moving back home to take my PGCE at Warwick University. I taught at Stratford-upon-Avon School for seven years before joining Sibford in 2016. I enjoy the calm and respectful environment there is at Sibford, and the ethos that everyone is valued for their individual strengths. Outside of school I am an avid gardener and a great fan of the outdoors. I enjoy walking, cycling and photography. I also have a passion for craft related activities, especially cross stitch which I find very rewarding.

Becca Edwards Key Stage 1 Class Teacher My working career initially started off as an Environmental Consultant, where my days were filled with looking for badgers, newts or bats and crawling through vegetation! However seven years ago, I made a career change, completed a PCGE at the University of Gloucestershire, and haven’t
