Youngsters step into Christmas


Junior pupils stepped into Christmas in style when they created a giant living bauble to promote their 2016 Christmas production. ‘Baubles … a Tree-mendous Nativity!’ was performed by children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 and told the story of school caretaker Mrs Potts who, concerned that the focus on Christmas parties and presents was overshadowing the real reason for the season, set to work creating some beautiful baubles … each featuring a scene from the Nativity.


In a photo shoot to help promote the play,


four of the


youngsters were invited to climb into a Zorb Ball to create their


own giant bauble depicting the visit of the angels to the shepherds to tell of the birth of the Baby

Class Teacher Helen Hoy said: “The children had great fun stepping into the Zorb Ball and becoming a giant bauble. We are really grateful to Henrietta of the Zorb Zone for enabling them to do this … it was all very exciting”
