Neighbourhood Team

There have been some changes to your local Poole West Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs):

PCSO Matt Cast from the Canford Heath NPT has moved to pastures new with the Newtown and Branksome NPT.

PCSO Kerrie Burns from the Creekmoor and Waterloo NPT has moved to Penn Hill and Canford Cliffs NPT after nine years covering all four Poole West patches.

PCSO James Somerville joined the Canford Heath NPT in August from the Rossmore and Alderney NPT, where he served his community for 10 years. James brings with him a lot of experience and has already started to build some good relationships within the community.

PCSO Chris Bolland also from the Rossmore and Alderny NPT has joined James on the Canford Heath NPT. Chris also comes with 10+ years under his belt and is looking forward to meeting his new community.

PCSO Daniel Cammell of the Broadstone and Merley NPT will also be taking on ownership of Creekmoor and Waterloo, becoming one patch.

I am sure you will all join me in wishing everyone luck in their new communities.

Anti-social behaviour (ASB)

Can I please remind you that it is important to report incidents of ASB. If you are experiencing ASB but are not reporting it, it will be unlikely that your local NPT will be aware and therefore our hi-vis patrols will be conducted elsewhere.

Although we try to cover as many areas as we can, we do prioritise our patrol routes to cover areas where we are receiving regular complaints of ASB.

I appreciate that the Police cannot always attend straight away due to other commitments, but we attend when we can and your call will be logged, which helps us prioritise our patrols.

We work very closely with the ASB team at Poole Borough Council to put a stop to ASB – including Anti-social Behaviour contracts being issued to repeat offenders. This is not be possible without your help, so please call 101 to report any incidents of ASB.
