Powertrib independent study using MPR Micropitting conducted at 60°C on 3 September 2010. Testing was carried out against the equivalent product of two major competitor brands. Compared to the reference fluids, Castrol Optigear Synthetic X320 exhibited remarkably low micropitting performance, very low weight loss, remarkably low surface roughness, comparable friction and low temperature.
