PRODUCT LAUCH ROAM

Following three successful years of marine coordination on the Greater Gabbard wind farm, the Green Marine Solutions team are proud to announce the launch of their offshore tracking and asset management system, ROAM.

LIMITATION OF CURRENT METHODS The need for such a system became apparent after witnessing the limitations of current methods used. They realised that by automating the processes currently carried out using VHF calls and log sheets, safety could be improved and huge efficiency gains made.

COMPLETE SOLUTION

Designed to be a complete solution ROAM not only monitors people, vessels and assets, but provides management of tasks, equipment, tools and PPE in a cost effective package.

The system uses PDAs in the field which not only allows the tracking of personnel, but gives them access to general broadcasts and scheduling information, as well as to communications and emails. The set up in the operations centre gives a clear snap- shot of what is currently happening via a tabbed list and convenient map interface. These are linked to a communications suite, meaning calls to vessels or personnel are a click away.

WEB PORTAL

A web portal gives personnel access to a live departures board, their daily task list and the facility to update their information and certificates. The same portal can also be accessed by offsite management teams for live monitoring, historical activity playback and efficiency management tools.

AN OFFSHORE TRACKING AND ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

BESPOKE SYSTEM

ROAM is fully customisable and can be tailored to many different applications in the offshore industry.

The Green Marine Solutions team have a portable system which can be demonstrated on site for intererested companies.
